Senior Action is Wanting YOU ! Senior Action is looking for basket teachers. The Greenville Senior Action is interested in partnering with our guild to teach basket weaving classes in January - March 2022. If you are interested in participating in this, as a teacher, and would like to join us for a tour of the facility and exploring ideas please contact Debbie Hill at [email protected]
It has been mentioned that they would like a 12 week class and it was semi discussed that they would be happy to take 3 or 4 week classes and possibly even some team teaching.
Membership and dues:
The decision was made that if your dues were current as of August 2020, they would be waived. members had to pay one of the two year periods, 2019 or 2020 to benefit. A gentle reminder we have changed when the 2021 dues are due January 2022. The dates have changed to match the calendar year vs August- July calendar year. Please email Denise Gillam to see if you are current if you are not sure or if you need an updated copy of the roster. Her email is [email protected]
Hope to see many of you at the next meeting, and bring your mask please.

Minutes from July meeting:
The meeting started off with members looking at all the silent auction items. A sale table was also setup for single payment. It was exciting to see so many members attending the meeting. Debbie and Julie gave instruction in pouring a base. The pouring table was set up outside. The bases produced were amazing. Everyone had two bases to use for future basket projects. Thank you Debbie and Julie for all your help and for furnishing us with the materials. After everyone had poured their bases, we came in for a delicious lunch. Members brought a great assortment of salads, sandwiches, and dessert. After lunch, five minutes were given to close the auction. Winners were announced with some great buys. All proceeds for the auction and sale benefits our convention summer. In remembrance of Sandy, we love you and miss you so much. Your basket supplies benefits for giving the best convention ever.
